Описание продукта

Type: The primer is a suspension of pigments and fillers in a solution of vinyl chloride copolymer with the addition of organic solvents.

Scope of application: The primer is intended for protection in a complex multilayer coating of equipment and metal structures exposed to mineral acids and alkalis at a temperature not exceeding 60 ° C, as well as for paint and varnish materials such as XB and XC.

Advantages: The primer forms a coating resistant to alkalis, acids and gasoline. The primer is allowed to be used for paint and varnish materials such as XB and XC.

Surface preparation: Preparation of the surface of the product for painting with a primer is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the TNPA for the product, GOST 9.402 or STB ISO 12944-4.

The metal surface must be thoroughly cleaned of dust, rust, scale and other contaminants before applying the primer (it is necessary to remove notches, burrs, welding splashes, round off sharp edges, corners, teeth and welding seams; there should be no grease, marking paint and other substances on the surface, such as mineral impurities, water-soluble salts that affect the quality of surface preparation), cleaned with a sanding skin (it is allowed to use a sanding skin with a grain size of 4 or 5 according to GOST 6456), degreased with acetone (GOST 2768) or solvent P-4 (GOST 827) and thoroughly dried.

Previously painted surfaces are cleaned of fragile layers of the old coating, the old coating is removed, the entire surface is cleaned mechanically, dedusted, degreased and dried. If the type of old paintwork is unknown, then it must be checked for compatibility (it is recommended to carry out a control staining of a small area of the surface). In case of swelling or peeling, the old coating must be completely removed.

To improve the protective properties of the surface, it is recommended to pre-clean by sandblasting or shot blasting to the degree of purification from oxides 1 - 2 according to GOST 9.402.

To avoid condensation of moisture, the temperature of the painted surface must be at least 3 °C above the dew point temperature.

Application: Before application, the primer is thoroughly mixed, diluted with solvent P-4 in an amount of no more than 40% of the undiluted primer mass, filtered through a grid No. 01N - 02N (GOST 6613) and applied by pneumatic spraying.

The consumer independently selects the working viscosity depending on the production conditions (ambient temperature in the room, the diameter of the spray nozzle, the working pressure of compressed air, etc.).

In case of storage at low temperatures, the primer is kept in a warm room before application (to avoid condensation of moisture on the surface to be painted during painting) for at least 24 hours.

In the case of surface cleaning by sandblasting or shot blasting, the coating thickness should be increased taking into account the degree of surface roughness Ra (GOST 2789).

Recommended complex four-layer coating.

Primer HS-068 "L", enamel HS-75U (TU RB 500021625.104) and varnish HS-76 (TU 6-21-7) are applied by pneumatic spraying according to the following scheme:

one layer of primer with a thickness of the dried coating – 15-20 microns;

two layers of enamel HS-75 in gray with a thickness of the dried coating – 50 - 70 microns;

one coat of varnish HS-76 with a thickness of dried coating – 20-25 microns.

Interlayer drying is carried out at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° C for 1 hour and final drying – at a temperature of 60 - 65 ° C for 3 hours. It is allowed to carry out final drying of the coating system at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° C and a relative humidity of not more than 80% for at least 5 days.

Exposure of the coating before use for at least 7 days.

The thickness of the dried complex four–layer coating is 85 - 115 microns.

The consumption of the primer for a single-layer coating is 60-100 g/m2, without taking into account the complexity of the surface to be painted, its preparation, the color of the primer, the thickness of the coating, the qualifications of personnel and other factors.

Storage: The primer should be stored in a tightly closed container, protecting it from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep away from fire.

Precautions: Persons involved in the painting work should be provided with personal protective equipment (overalls, goggles, rubber gloves). During the painting works and after their completion, ventilate the room.

The dried coating does not have a toxic effect on the environment and the human body.
